What is GLASS-GARD? Engineered with powerful adhesives, GLASS-GARD is a thin, clear, polyester film which is laminated to the interior surface of your windows or doors. GLASS-GARD window films reduce the hazards associated with broken glass by holding dangerous glass shards to the film surface and helping to keep the broken window pane within its frame.

GLASS-GARD Silver Series – An Excellent Combination of Safety and Security Benefits with Solar Control Attributes

The GLASS-GARD Silver Series films are available in your choice of two shades:

  • GLASS-GARD Silver 15 – Is available in two degrees of thickness and reduces glare by up to 80%.
  • GLASS-GARD Silver 35 – Offers one level of thickness and reduces glare up to 63%.

Backed by a factory warranty, professionally installed GLASS-GARD Silver Series films are warranted against the following for 5 years:

  • Peeling
  • Bubbling
  • Rippling
  • Cracking
  • Adhesive failure
  • Delamination
  • Demetallization

In addition, GLASS-GARD Silver Series films are warranted for 2 years against glass breakage due to thermal stress. However, these films are not warranted against seal failure on dual-pane, insulated glass windows.

GLASS-GARD Signature Series – Our Premium Line of All-Metallized Films

The Signature Series offers building owners excellent glass breakage protection as well as heat, glare, and fade reduction without a dark tint. Films in this series come with the longest and most comprehensive warranty offered by Madico.

The Signature Series is available in varying degrees of thickness and shading to meet the needs of every customer. The thickness of the film determines the level of safety and security protection. The thicker the film the stronger it will be in preventing the dangers associated with glass breakage. The shade of the film determines the solar control properties. The darker shades decrease the amount of visible light transmission and provide greater fade and glare reduction benefits. Backed by a factory warranty, professionally installed GLASS-GARD Signature Series window films are warranted against the following for 10 years in commercial applications and for the lifetime of the film in residential applications:

  • Delamination
  • Demetallization

In addition, GLASS-GARD brand Signature Series films are warranted for 5 years against glass breakage due to thermal stress and three years against seal failure on dual-pane, insulated glass windows.

 

Clear

Provides excellent glass breakage protection without changing the appearance of your windows.

GLASS-GARD Clear window films are perfect for those whose main concern is safety and security. Designed to reduce the dangers of flying debris in the event of glass breakage, the film is clear so that it will not change the appearance of the glass. However, due to this fact, GLASS-GARD clear films only provide minimal solar control benefits.

AG (Anti-Graffiti)

An exterior application that protects surfaces from permanent damage caused by vandalism GLASS-GARD AG acts as an invisible shield against graffiti and tagging (deliberate scratching of glass with a sharp instrument.) The film is made with a specifically designed mounting adhesive that makes it easy to remove and replace with a fresh layer of protective film. GLASS-GARD AG is a cost-effective way to protect your property and prevent the need to replace expensive glass.

Currently, GLASS-GARD AG is offered in a clear film with one level of thickness.
