Protekt® technology has a fluoro-polymer base with proven performance for long-term durability in all weather conditions. Extensive internal and third party testing validates and certifies our backsheet performance to exceed industry standards, providing safety for the life of the panel. Protekt® has undergone testing to meet UL certification including flame resistance and electrical insulation. It is a thin backsheet that boasts the highest in dielectric strength. Protekt® has also under gone extensive damp heat testing, exceeding the 1000 hour industry standard set by UL and TUV.

Protekt® Technology uses a high performance film cast in a special process that when applied to the base dielectric bonding layers of PET/EVA, results in a laminate with excellent stability characteristics for vacuum laminating performance in rugged environments around the world.
