Madico adheres closely to the “operational excellence” models espoused exposed by the prestigious Shingo Prize organization. It is our unwavering goal to be a prize recipient by the year 2012. Our pursuit of this coveted award ensures we follow the most stringent lean manufacturing processes, which allow us to minimize or eliminate non-value added steps and waste in the following seven categories: Defect, Overproduction, Transportation, Waiting, Inventory, Motion and Over-Processing.
Madico has also implemented the Six Sigma improvement process for the past five years. Six Sigma is a broad set of statistically based tools and problem solving process for reducing variation. The problems solving process follows the “DMAIC” format of Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control.
Ultimately, investing in these processes means our customers receive high quality products, quickly and efficiently, which are manufactured in an environment that produces less waste and greenhouse gasses.
